HI,
Not sure what you mean by width. The scales are just under an inch wide at the middle bolt, and I used 1/4" thick material.

The bolts I used are called "regular bolts" in the Sheffield catalog. Not real descriptive, huh?

Knife arrived today...wow..wow..wow..if this was my very first knife it could of been my last..this will easily do every thing I'm sure to ask it to do. On second thought maybe another in a different color.
