Hello All:
I ordered this knife a week ago today. I was impressed with the VUK; I was absolutely blown away by this piece of craftmanship.
The fit, finish, and craftmanship of this knife exceeded my expectations by several orders of magnitude.
Himalayan Imports has created something very unique.
Here are the photos:
The knife came well packed in a USPS triangular box.
The knife was also very securely wrapped in bubble wrap.
Like the VUK, this pommel is nicely rounded and doesn't stab the bottom of my palm when I snap my wrist forward.
The sheath is the best I've seen in a Kukri and will fit my belt nicely.
All in all, an exceptional buy. I will have a field sheath made for it to preserve the original, but this blade will get a lot of use.
