Up for grabs are two absolutely incredible Busse Natural Outlaw Ergos (NO-Es). My pics and my description do not come close to doing these knives justice. Both of these knives are new and unused. They do not come with sheaths. Also, I am not interested in trades at this time.
The top knife is a 1 of 7 desert NO-E clip point recurve. It is only one of two I have ever seen that has the quilted micarta handles. The others have a different pattern on the handles, what's known as raptor micarta handles. The knife has a polished spine all the way around to the choil as well.
The bottom knife is a 1 of 14 desert NO-E clip point. It is only one of three that I have ever seen that has the quilted micata handles. I have two of theme :thumbup: and the other one is my user "go to" mid-sized Busse blade. Like the recurve, it has a polished spine all the way around to the choil of the knife.
These are .25" thick and IMHO are much better balanced than the regular offerings of NO-Es. A few years back, I did a passaround of my user clip point NO-E. If you search on the term "passaround" (thread title only) in the Busse subforum, you can read for yourself what others have said about my 1 of 14 user.
These are being offered as a set for $1340 shipped CONUS, or for $700 each. Either knife would be incredible for someone in the military who might see combat duty overseas. Or together, they would make an incredible combination for a father and son who both share an interest in Busse knives. Either way, they of course come with the Busse lifetime "no questions asked" warranty.
There will likely be no price drops on these as they are already at "rock bottom" and priced substantially below a raptor handled non-recurve NO-E that is otherwise like mine, but which just sold for $875!!!
