The blades on these two are hand ground & heat treated by knife maker Nick Wheeler. I put the handles on & sheaths by Ray (heavy leather)

Both have 1/8" Nickel pins, nickel lanyard tubes.

The hunter is 8" with 3.5" of cutting edge. 3/32" thick stock,1080+ carbon (has vanadium added) Rc 59-60. Right side belt loop sheath $135.

The smaller EDC caper is 3/32" 1084 carbon , Rc 62-63 OAL is 6" with 2-3/8" cutting edge. No loop "in pocket" sheath $120.

Prices are shipped. Take both for $240. very nice combo pair

Ironwood is from the Baja region of Mexico

Thanks Nick it means a lot Your blades cut great. Nice grinds!!

All the natives in Baja call it an ironwood but it is truly an acacia....not cocobolo. I pick it up in the arroyos after it has been dead for tens if not hundreds of years. You may not touch it if still living. The bugs eat all the sapwood but can't touch the heartwood. We also use it for firewood and BBQ fuel. A 3" diameter log will burn for 2-4 hours. Amazing stuff.
