Two I've been carrying around - Queen and Case

I've had these two for a few months now and one of them is with me pretty much all the time.

First up is a Queen Dogleg Jack in Cocobolo. It wasn't very sharp out of the box but that was easily fixed. I love this knife. Small......super sharp....stays super sharp.....D2 goodness wrapped in Cocobolo.

Second.....wharncliffe blades make me immediately reach for a credit card. I saw this Case Copperlock with CV wharncliffe blade and couldn't resist....I didn't want to resist.

I've looked at the birdseye maple Queens quite a few times. I definitely see some in my future. I was disappointed on how my Queen arrived. The bevel wasn't even close to being symetrical and it wasn't sharp at all. I don't mind fixing these things and for the money I'm spending vs. what I'm getting...I'm still happy with Queen knives regardless of the out of box edge.

Nice knives, I like queen's d2 a great bargain to me even if they come dull, and I like that maple! Nice case too, I have a couple copperlock's but no wharncliffe bladed one's.

Yeah, I sold you the cocobolo. I had got it new and noticed the same thing. I agree with you though: they are definitely worth it!

My Wharncliffe Copperlock has the same date stamp as yours.

Both of those are nice knives. Been thinking of getting a Queen with Cocobolo handles.
