This kwaiken is made from 1095 carbon steel. It has been heat treated to 59-60RC in hardness. The blade is ground with a right side hollow chisel grind and the handle is wrapped with black cotton cord and over wrapped with dark red paracord that was coated with resin. It comes with a leather cross draw sheath. The menuki is made from titanium.
9 3/8in long X 1 1/8in wide X 3/16in thick. Handle is 4 1/4in long.
