Two Lock backs I would like to see Custom Makers recreate

The First is a L.F.& C. 4 1/2" Closed.

I really like these old knives. The patterns carry very well as they are thin in depth and width. Front pocket of jeans works fine for me.

Part of what drives me as a maker is the almost unlimited number of patterns that can be recreated. I almost think I could spend the rest of my knife making days working and not make two of the same pattern.

Them are some purty knives, especially the second one, with the swedge of the first. :thumbup:

I like those knives. But I must be weird or something, I like the bone handles more than the blades themselves.

And then,there are variations of each pattern,too
I like a lockback knife.Having the blade lock as a back - up,while using a knife for work,is a good thing

Thanks everyone for your comments. Perhaps the makers may pick up on one of the patterns and show us a new creation. Hopefully!!
 
Aren't those quite close to a Case 6111 or another swing guard without the guards?

The L.F.& C. measures 4 1/2" Closed. Case's current Cheetah measures 4 3/8". I don't know what a XX or XX USA (65-69) measures as Case changed the 11L pattern in or about 1970 and started calling them Cheetah. The Lock bar and Back spring on the LF&C is wider than the cheetah but the knife in depth I call it is more narrow. They are both Lock Backs as you know and are similar but not the same. The old LF&C has a much prettier Blade Shape than the Cheetah to me. The Keen Kutter is a more slim and trim Knife than the LF&C or the Case 11L Pattern.
