Some time ago Leroy sold me a Buck Custom set of #110 Selectors. Both knives had the rear bolsters removed. One is Cape Buffalo and the other is Stellar Sea Cow. The set came with five polished selector blades and a custom leather sheath to hold 2 blades and the knife for each. I planned on storing one blade in each knife and the two extra blades for each knife in the pockets in the sheath. However, I was one blade short of a full set of blades to go in the sheaths so I had Leroy polish a saw blade for me and in the process he cut his hand really bad. Took him three weeks to polish the blade and he told me he wouldn't do it again because he was out of business while his hand healed. I still owe him for that one.
 
Nice 112! Now you got me dreaming....vintage black micarta 112 made into a selector...clip blade in bg-42...now where did I put Leroy's number! :D
Dick, Seems to me I remember hearing Leroy belly ache about his hand once a while back. Or was it every time I spoke to him on the phone? :rolleyes:
His work is absolutely incredible!
 
Really spectacular. Am I right in thinking that the 112 would accommodate a full set of left handed selector blades? You have the one, the gutter, in the pics. As a lefty I would admire that very much.

Yes it would.....but they have to be custom made as there was never a factory Buck 112 selector.:(
