Its a darn good thing I wasnt drinking a soda when I saw that! I would have ruined the wifes laptop!
Seriously though, I havent delved too deeply in to the lacing, but I do see it from time to time. Dave Cole, a knifemaker/sheathmaker does a bit of lacing. Its a rather involved process and takes a lot to master but it sure looks nice when its done well.
