Hi all, I made another Pathfinder only this time I put white liners
in between the orange G-10 handles. I like this alot better than
just the orange scales. Here is a couple of pics for your enjoyment.

process.

I have been wanting to make up a (pskk) Personal survival kit knife this is
one that I have done so far I am going to put in silver nickle tubing and white
liners with orange G-10 1/8th scales. I got far enough to day to get it sharpened and made up a fuzz stick. It shaves the hair off my arm and cuts
paper like crazy. I also took a pic of it in my hand. The blade is just under
3" the over all lenght is 6 and 3/4 inchs long and is seven sixty fourths of and inch thick. Heres is a few pics

Well this is what I did for easter sunday. Take care all,

Bryan

Excellent work....looks like I'm gonna have to buy that damn book now....thanks! no seriously excellnt work.

They look great!! Well, what everyone else is saying, I am echoing. Are you gonna sell them?

A bit off topic: Those variable frequency drives for the motors are nice. I have one on a mill, and I'm itching to put one on my belt grinder. It's not really in line with the grinder, but I've read it's pretty easy to short one and burn it up completely with the metal dust floating around in the shop. The dust goes through the vent slots and builds up on the circuit board. It seems to be a semi-regular occurence on the practical machinist forum. Just an FYI.

Oh..........and nice knives!

Very nice! I especially like the PSKK, and the white liners look great against the orange.

P.S. Does your camera have a macro setting?

sweet :) , seriously good , I like them a lot .

Looks like that book paid for itself allready a few times over :)

Someday I gotta attempt at trying to build my own knife. I don't think anything would feel much better then making your own.

The pssk looks great, nice job all around:thumbup:
What kinda steel we talking here?

the only thing better is using one you made , and are happy with .

or maybe its hearing from others who seriously like the one you made them ...

weeks ago , maybe a couple months ago , my bro rang me up to tell me about how the knife I made him helped him save a life .

I still got a warm n fuzzy feeling out of that ...

Hey all thanks for the kind comments. I for got to say what steel Iam using
it is 0-1 i do have some 5160 and will be making some pathfinders and some
pskk s with that steel to. Yes I plan to make and sell knives as a part time
job, my tree cutting business is determined by the weather and the days that
I can not get out to cut trees I will be in the shop making knives and I think
some spear points too I drew one up but have not put it into steel yet.
The pics were not as good as I would have liked but I well try to post better
next time.
I will do one of the little knives with a four inch Blade Good Idea Marcelo Cantu I will post a pic when I get it done.

Myal that is Awsome about one of your knives helping to save your friend.

Again Thanks for the comments all,

Bryan
