I love those knives man. The retention hole in the blade is a great idea for a short blade.

Dang! It's a kiridashi on 'roids! What is the purpose of the forward hole? Sheath retention?

Thanks! The hole is for sheath retention and gives a hint of a traditional cleaver look. I was able to keep the sheath very minimal because of the added retention from the hole.

...plus the hole makes it lighter and infinitely faster in the hand because of reduced wind resistance. The chamfering creates a lift effect therefore speeding up the knife's acceleration dramatically. (OK just kidding :p )

What are the shipping costs to the Netherlands?

PM sent, I included a couple of options.

I always pro rate international shipping and never make any money on shipping.

Thanks everyone for the kind words!
