Two new W2 Hunters

Hey everybody,
I just finished these knives up for blades I finished forging some time ago. i am not finished with them as i need to touch up the blades where they got a few scratched during handle finishing. and i am going to be making sheaths for hem, but i am very interested in your feedback.

G10 Hunter
OAL 11.5" Blade: 6" long, 0.215" thick
Blade forged from DHIII W2 steel, polished to 2k grit with active hamon
304 Stainless guard Micarta spacer and Stainless pin
Tan G10 handle

Redwood Burl Hunter
OAL 12" Blade: 7" long, 0.19" thick
Blade forged from DHIII W2 steel, polished to 2k grit with active hamon
304 Stainless guard and Micarta spacer Mosaic pin
Stabilized Redwood burl handle

They look great. Did the G10 break out around the pin?
Hey, it is solid around the pin but the color change is from where i peened the pin. I wasn't expecting that as i counter-sunk the holes and everything. This is the first time i have used G10 for a hidden tang knife. i will know for next time not to peen them so aggressively.

I am glad yall like them, and i have to admit.. the redwood knife is super sweet in the hand and balanced just right. but my favorite is the G10 one.. nice and hefty.

did yall have any constructive criticism? these are the first knives of this type i have made.

I am making sheaths for them and then they will be going up for sale.

That tan G10 looks awesome, almost like some light colored amber. I'm going to try some of that out.

Yeah, you only made two. ;)
 
I'm glad to see you're still making quality blades, and am quite interested in the first one depending on how the carry sheath ends up.
