I'll be doing a two night solo this Friday and Sat night. Nice place in North Idaho called Revett lake. Actually I'll be heading N.W. to Granite Peak. Less people.... hell almost NO PEOPLE.

War Department, (AKA Wife) has my itinerary, extra map with planned travel, and gear is ready to go.

Knives/axe will be used, and pics will be taken.

Hugs and sloppy wet kisses to all.;)

Be good. Be safe. You know what we expect so make sure you pick up a 8 gig SD/HC card:p

See ya when you get back.

Cool deal man. Stay safe and give us a full report when you get back.

Cool. Can you camp on the trail or do you have to use a campground??

At the lake I believe they like you to camp in a designated spot. This is a very un-urbanized trail however. You could probably get away with setting up camp wherever and not have a problem this time of year. I'm sure to run into a little snow.

Where I'm heading, no. I can camp wherever. Pretty remote.

Very cool, I wish I was going hiking this weekend.

Stay safe, but if you do cut yourself, take lots of pictures. Especially if you can see bone, I like those ones...

We bought 25 acres south of Couer D' Alene off highway 95.. Its amazing country up there. You will have a blast!!

Have a great time and be safe. Some friends and I are heading to a lake this evening for some fishing and camping. Normally there are plenty of people but it might rain tomorrow so we don't expect to see many people. Can't wait for the pictures!

I've elk and deer hunted up there, although several years ago. Mighty pretty country!

Be aware, however, there are a few Griz in that area, so watch your safety habits regarding food. This time of the year, they'll be out of their dens.

Have fun.

Have fun Bro. Looking forward to the pics! I'd love to visit Idaho, heard it is beautiful.

Sounds like a blast. Take some pics for us!

Hey Tarmix,

First and foremost, be safe, secondly, enjoy the hell out of it and don't forget the knife pics.
