Two Piece Wood Covers On A Buck 110

Now that is cool. Very nice looking one of a kind knife. I like the step by step pictures and explanation.

Thanks for posting this for all us to see.

Awesome looking knife. I've always liked the idea of a two toned knife. This one is very well done.

Makes me want to yank the slabs off any old 110 and put on some new covers myself. Something I have not done in 25 years or so. What an inspiration indeed

Thanks again for all the comments!!
I still have the other half of those two pieces of wood, so………. :)

Thank you Mike!! Very humbling that you made one of your five posts in the last two years a comment on this little project.
Also, great to see one of the BCCI Founding Members post here on the Buck forum.:thumbup:

No need to thank me Stumps. It really is inspirational to see this being done. I recovered probably 50-60 110's in the late 80's - early 90's. Back in a day when very few even looked at the 110 as knife worth modification. It was always fun to see the confusion of folks at shows looking at handles they had never seen and wondered how, where, who. We sure didn't have a medium like this to share on and pictures too lots of FILM.
I try to check in here and keep up, but never felt the "young guns" here cared to hear my two cents worth, so I pretty much just red and learn. Thanks again for the posts - You do great work

Truly awesome work Mark:thumbup:. I can't wait to see what you come up with next.
