two pin 112?

I just scored a nice old 112 around 1973 vintage, no dots on blade two pins on grip. when I release the rocker bar to close it freefalls over 90 degrees. What is the cause or fix?

That's perfectly normal for that vintage 112...the radius on the tang was changed at a later date...
recomend not letting it hit the back of your fingers if you keep your's as sharp as I keep mine
