Hello all, I am new to this forum and would be grateful for advice on two questions:

(1) Does Spyderco have any folders that have a fat belly in the blade?

and specifically,

(2) Have anyone laid their hands on the S90V Military? How does it feel?

Thanks!

Can't help you with #2, but as for #1 - I would say these models all have a lot of belly for their respective sizes:

C110 Lava
C105 Mini Persian
C83 Persian
C63 Chinook (I, II, and III)

Of them, the Lava, Mini Persian, and Chinook III are current production.

I would add the D'Allara drop point to the list.

I think #1 is pretty well covered. As for #2, I love my S90V Military. It is my go-to knife for tough jobs. Feather light yet strong, the peel-ply carbon fiber gives excellent traction without shredding your hands or clothes. The steel is amazing. It will hold an edge all day long for me, which I would guess translates to a month or two for an average person (I'm hard on knives). In fact, it is the first Military that I have purchased a back-up for, just in case something happens to it.
