I'm looking at ordering a couple of Cold Steel Hawks, the Rifleman's and Trail hawks.

My questions are:
1) Should I order a couple of spare handles right away? I've seen posts about guys removing them and smoothing out the poll, which I plan on doing right away too. Would it be smart to have spare handles right away for doing this depending upon what I run into?

2) Have you dealt with yourcornerstore.com? This is where I am considering ordering from currenlty. Good or bad experiences?

As per your first question.Yes order a few handles.They're not expensive,fun to mod and you don't want to need one and not have them.
I can't help you with your second question.
 
Always buy extra handles. You will break them and you will not be happy with yourself when you do and don't have a spare.
 
Might want to buy the 30" handles they sell for them. You can always cut them down, and you might find you like a longer than 19" haft.
