My first post in a while -- admins, if there is something I am doing incorrectly, please advise and I will correct it ASAP. Rules change sometimes!
Pardon the long introduction, but I feel, since I am not on the forums often, I should give you a little more detail on the beautiful knives I am offering. I listed a few in 2015, but my pictures were awful and I became busy on a new time consuming project.
The massive snowstorm hitting us, last night gave me the opportunity to finally take appropriate photos of these two RAINY VALLOTTON CUSTOM AUTOS which were made for me, one being displayed as SOLD at the 2015 BladeShow, Atlanta, (SEE PHOTO AND VIDEO CLIP) where me and my video crew were filming a sizzle reel for a new reality show called CUT!, about the ever EXPLODING knife industry and the beautiful art and talent that is continually created by a handful of truly skilled creative and mechanically skilled technicians and visual artists. I became friends with the Vallotton family during this brief period in 2015, and believed they would be a great group of generational artisans to help get the show off the ground. I made many purchases while working at my first BladeShow, and was soon after addicted to the hobby. Due to logistics and availabilities, the pilot never got finished. But, a new version is currently in development by my team.
The funds raised by my current knife sales will be going towards the preliminary pre-production budget of the new sizzle reel/pilot.
These are all one of a kind knives and the materials used are of the finest quality. All the knives use natural substances for the handles, so slight imperfections may exist. All the knives have Chad Nichols blued Damascus blades and some have similar bolsters/buttons. File work is extraordinary on all.
THESE KNIVES WERE NEVER USED, SIMPLY DISPLAYED IN A DUST PROOF/UV PROOF SHOWCASE IN MY OFFICE SINCE 2015, ANY HANDLING MARKS WITHIN EYE VIEW OF THE INNARDS OF THE KNIFE ARE THOSE OF THE MAKER RAINY VALLOTTON.
The first two I will be listing this evening are:
Rainy Vallotton Blue Molar with Jewels, Chad Nichols Damascus Steel. 10" open length, approx 5" blade, (only one side is actually sharp, but still use caution when closing the knife). See ALL the photos to view the intense detail.
A quick outtake clip shows the knife at BladeShow, as Rainy is explaining the individual family makers of their knives on display. This Blue Molar is at the end of the clip and you can see the SOLD TAG below. I also bought the first "Cory" knife ever sold. I am struggling whether to sell that or not.
