Two Rare Customs David Mary and Kirby Knives

KIRBY KNIVES CUSTOM EDC/SKINNER

I need a little extra scratch for the holidays, so I've decided to sell this absolutely beautiful knife with it's unique hamon pattern and overall bad assery. Kirby doesn't make many knives, but the few he does are of the highest quality, with close attention paid to heat treatment and finish.

Handcrafted by Kirby Knives, this knife is made from 0.123" thick 1095 that has been hardened to 61HRC. It is 8.5 inches long with a cutting edge of 4 1/8 inches.
The handle is made of stabilized Black Palm with a tapered tang and Loveless style fasteners to give it a classic look.
The hamon is thick and unique, certainly the first thing that caught my eye when I first bought this knife.
The knife comes with a Kydex sheath with a handy belt attachment.

PRE- MAKER'S MARK DAVID MARY R&D CHOPPER

I'm a little tight on cash right now, otherwise I wouldn't be letting this one go. This knife punches WAY above it's weight class, chopping as though it was a much larger knife. David made this to be a workhorse and it shows. The finish is not superb and there is a tiny blemish on the handle, but this knife doesn't care, It's just too dang busy chopping. Not to mention that David is one of the nicest people on the forum.

David made this little monster out of 5/32" thick 1084 that has been professionally heat treated to 61HRC. It is 9 1/2 inches long with a 4 3/4 inch cutting edge. David is such a nice guy he even wrote down the edge geometry: 2/3 convex, 15° primary edge, 20° micro, .028" behind the edge. It weighs 7.9 oz and is handled with OD green and black canvas micarta, with red G10 and black paper micarta liners. I also comes with an OD green Kydex sheath.
