Two Schrade push button knives?

Schrade stopped making these before 1958. If its stiff it may be that the oil has thickened and slows the blade. It should swing very easily. Another reason is the spring just may have weakened over the years and needs replacing. The springs over time do weaken if left compresses (knife closed).

Try a few drops of a good knife oil, work the blade without using the spring wiping away the excess oil.
