Neither has been used or carried but both have some light handling marks. I posted these 2 in the Schrade Collectors Forum and the opinion is that The one marked "L.L. Bean" is a 'prototype' made to show L.L. Bean but no knives were ever ordered by L.L. Bean.

No email has been received. Neither knife has any cracks or rust spots. If a buyer finds a knife to be other than as described he may return it for a refund. This is standard for selling here at BF, not just myself.

I do see a crack in the top knife of second picture in the rear pin
 
Yes, i now see it too. When looking at the knife, this crack only shows when the light angle is 'just right' yet it is obvious in the picture, possibly because it is enlarged. This is the NO etch knife.
I cannot see any other cracks on either knife.
Thanks for pointing this out. Much better to discover before being sold.

Since Charlie offered to buy the pair, I will back away and you can sell the pair. I sure wanted the LL Bean, however, I would rather see Charlie have the pair. I already have the Schrade Factory Mint 2OT and 3OT knives, a Craftsman 2OT and several others. I play well with others...share the wealth.....
