Swamp Rat apprentice? - I've never seen a Rat like it. - $135 shipped!
Here's what I know about this blade. The original owner had a solid collection of old school Busse knives that dated back to the time that Swamp Rat was created. He passed and his collection was auctioned off by his nephew. The micarta and logo look consistent with that timeframe as well.
Here's what I don't know about this blade. I don't know the steel. Judging from the slight marks on it, I'm pretty certain it's not D2 or Infi. If it's an apprentice, it could be 5160 (I think that's correct). Other possibilities include A2 or SR101. I don't think it's A2.

Here's what I know about this blade. Doublecut finish with INFI dimples, hand-shaped snakeskin, hollow grind, rounded spine. Dear God, I love this knife!
Here's what I don't know about this blade. Why I'm selling it!
