I started making knives about 6 months ago, so I figured I needed to get back into leather work also. About 30 years ago I used to help my Grandfather get his leather work ready for the craft shows. Still have a little rust to knock off, but things are coming back to me along with alot of new ideas. Anyways here they are.

I did make the micarta. I am really diggin the burlap. I have been experimenting with dying the burlap different colors and am verry happy with the results. Have made black, dark green and scarlet red so far.
 
and they look beautiful! i like the oxblood color!:thumbup:
That burlap micarta is really cool.
