Finally named this model and I call it the Solo. It fits the bill for my "if I could only have one" type of blade. It's large enough to chop with and small enough to do finer cutting with. 14in overall with 8 3/8 blades. Steel is 1/4in thick 5160 with a differential heat treat. Sheaths are Kydex with Tek Locs. Bevels are flat ground. Scales asre black G10 for one and natural canvas micarta on the other. Price is $275 + $15 shipping for either. I can accept Paypal or MO. Feel free to email me if there are any questions I can answer.

That's a beautiful piece of hardware. Also, like your Green Medium Hoodlum II on your website.

Looks like you make extremely strong working knives, that can do the task and then some more, that's my style.

Would like to see more of what you make?

Cheers!

That would be a hugely utilitarian EDC design w/ a 3.75" or so blade. Just shrink the whole thing down. Maybe sell them as a camp knife duo package...

I picked up one of these knives from Bill at Blade West and LOVE IT. I picked it up Friday and Saturday it was out in the field with me on a 24 hr pack test with my SAR team. Harvesting firewood I cut through several slow growth (extremely dense) dead trees just over 6" in diameter among other small camp tasks and it is still a thing of beauty and the sharpest knife I own. Great sheath too. Thanks Bill :D

Bill,
Got the knife today!! Very nice work. Your pictures don't do it justice. My favorite from you so far.
Thanks much,
Jason

Never know what I'll build if you are waiting on my whims. If you want one your best bet is to place an order. Then you'll definitely get one going.
