Two Spyderco's on my near term list - trying to decide which to buy first . . .

I don't know how you could go wrong with either. I suppose if you intend to "carry and use" it comes down to size. Are you comfortable carrying a 4 inch plus folder ? They don't come much better than the Police 3. I see the Native 4 as an elegant EDC. Both are good.....just different.

I am good about large folder carry. I'm pretty big - a semi-fit 6' 2" and about 245 and I don't wear my jeans overly tight so ZT's, Millie's, BM 710's and the likes drop right ino my right hip pocket just fine. Plus I live in Nevada where a clip on the pocket doesn't generally create a ruckus.

I'm going to snag the Police 3 ASAP then start watching for the Native 4 after that.

I actually had the opportunity to feel both up thoroughly today and I was really more impressed by the police than the native. I'm a bigger dude also and the native was just to clumsy in my hands(just my experience) and the police just felt a lot better all around. The choil they added to it essentially seals the deal for me. I definitely see one in my future.

I see you're already set with the Police3. It'd be the one I'd grab first. :)

That helped a lot. And thanks to everyone who made it so easy. It's hard deciding on a next knife when you have a ton of nice knives already. I seem to try much harder searching and researching (the second best part about buying knives ;) ) and go much longer between purchases to make sure I have a cooling off period. Also, I find I do indeed change my mind quite a bit during this process . . .
