two-step verification doesn't seem to be working

not complaining, just sharing my experience. just tried to long on for the first time in a few days. received 11 different authentication #s that did not work. Was logging on from laptop on wifi by Verizon. Tried to log on a few times from att android phone with same result. tried again on the computer an magically was allowed entry... not sure if switching to the phone interface did something or not.
If I were you, I'd turn off 2FA while you're on your computer until the matter is resolved to Spark's satisfaction. (Just make sure you have a strong password.) Not doing so might leave you out in the cold when you want to log in and the time has expired for that device.

I doubt very much that the phone had anything to do with it.

I am having the same 2a problem . I have started a new account .. my original user name is lumberjacker and it is a gold account

I spoke with my pal H herder on the phone yesterday, and he was unable to log in to BF because he isn't receiving a code when he tries to log in with two factor authentication. Spark Spark any update on a solution to this for someone who can't get logged in at all and isn't receiving the code they need to log in with 2FA?

(I did let him know the workaround that Blues Blues had suggested, but unfortunately he isn't logged in on any device.)

I'm not getting any notifications using Gmail. I'm locked out on my computer and tablet, but still able to log on with my phone for now. I updated my Gmail to a brand new account to see if it was something with my address (before I saw this one).

Should I try a different email provider?
Sorry this has been such a pain. No big deal in the grand scheme of things.

There's no email bounces from your address. Have you checked your spam folder?

weird. yeah thats where they went. i just set up a new email for this account, and there they are. I did think to check my other gmail account and they werent there, as near as I can tell. Thanks for the help as always.

That ended up being the issue for H herder as well, his 2FA codes were going to his spam folder.

I’ve PM’ed a few other members in the last week who are usually responsive, and I now I’m wondering if maybe they’re not getting notification emails (or if the emails might be going to their spam folders).

I tried logging on to my normal account "mikeymoto" and am not receiving the email confirmation code. My account's email address is "bladeforums@emailisgood.com" which is an alias on my Gmail. It is not in Spam/Junk. I tried twice in the space of about 20 minutes today. Help please and thank you. Spark Spark

It's not bouncing back to us - it's not showing up in our bounced mail logs at all. That means it's being eaten somewhere between us and your email company.
