I bought these direct from Surefire a few years ago. I opened the heads and covered both of them to single high mode (you cut a single copper line on the MCPCB to make it single mode). Both work great.
They have been mounted on rifles I keep in the safe so they have a few marks on them from handling but otherwise not really carried.
