Well, now I can't see it either. Let me check.

Steven, I guess you saw it okay and the bottom one is yours. I have a couple just about the same in case anybody else is interested.

Off to check the pix. I'll be back.

Khukuri FAQ

Hi Mike! Well, the ol' Harley got a last-minute reprieve! Yesterday the publisher handed me a Christmas bonus so I'm good to go for at least another khuk or two before I have to resort to more drastic measures!

Uncle Bill,

I'll take a 20 inch village utility. Please send it to me next week after you receive my money order. Thanks.

Christian

Tio,

I'll take a 20" villager utility if any are left.

Uncle,
I see the pix on my home computer. That 20" is a top quality looking piece. Is 95.00$ really the price? I'm glad I was persuaded by your telepathy to order. Will you be able to tell me the name of village, region and Kami? That Garud AK that Dave K. bought is a stunner. That thing could sit front stage at any respectable knife show. Congrats on a fine purchase Dave K. And to you Bill for bringing the Garud to us.

I was wondering if the village models still have MADE IN NEPAL stamped in them.

Ok, everybody is covered so far.

These blades had no marking on them at all. I am guessing these were made in BirGorkha by a visiting kami because of the scabbards and frogs. But which kami I have no idea. He probably came, worked for a week or two, collected his pay, and is back in the village. Whoever he was he did a very decent job.

The utility models are gone. Couple of Sirupatis left. Anybody want them. These are good khukuris made right in BirGorkha with Bura overseeing the effort. Full HI guarantee and no markings at all on the blades. For $95 it will be hard to find as much khukuri so well made.

OK, Erik: I'll get it shipped tomorrow with thanks. I shipped your order I was holding for you a week or so back so you should have everything when you arrive for Christmas. Give me a ring while you are in the US and have a safe journey.

We have a couple of the Sirupatis left in case anybody else wants one.
