Two years worth the wait? Sawby's...yeah!

Actually I have been carrying it. Just not using it much. I did cut into a clementine last night, and immediatly wiped it off.

I'm also again on Scott's list for another knife, a botton lock wharny this time. I hope he doesn't retire before I'm able to get this one. Anyhow he told me about 2 years is the norm for a new order. Hopefully repeat customers get pushed up quicker.
Yeah, right.

Oh Good, it is only 2 years. I dunno why I thought it was 4. Cool.

That is awesome that you ARE carrying and used it. Way cool.

Those look worth waiting for for sure! Beautiful damascus!

Kind regards,

Jos

i just joined the forum. as a sawby addict i could not pas on the cu with elephant ivory and 1/4 thick damascus blade. i've got to double check but pretty sure this gives me a bakers dozen combat utilities! one of the very best knife designs ever done!!! scott's fit and finish is supberb, plus both he and his wife are a pleasure to talk too. i also have many more of his knives and have decided that scott and joe kious will now be my main persuit.
i'm surprised i've gotten this far on the forum being an old mechanical engineer who is digitally challanged.

I LOVE the C/U!! It is an incredible, incredible knife!! I LOVE the one I have.

blackend, are you still carrying one of those?

Whoat!? 2 years to wait for this awesome piece? Speaks volumes about the maker and his craft.

If it wasn't for TKC above, I wouldn't have heard of this knife

As someone who appreciates innovation in all designs and platforms, it was the excellent form of the knife that caught my eye (I love that bull-nose/wharnie point and simple ergos) and then I found out about the "Sawby lock", a unique and truly ambi design, well you can't get any better than that!
