Tx grinders

Need opinions on this grinder made by Tx grinder in Dripping Springs, Tx. Listed on ebay item# 173121754457 hope this helps. Thanks, Rey
I bought one of these and I couldn’t be happier. It got to me in a reasonable amount of time, flawless design, and is super easy to use. Cut down on my knife making time, great customer service and just an all around great grinder.

Avoid this grinder at all costs. I got one. The unit arrived defective. The knobs that hold the arms would not tighten down enough and kept tossing belts. The arm would pull back from the torque of the motor. I was sent another slightly bigger knob to "fix" the issue. Needless to say that did not work. Ended up welding a clamp on to hold the arm in place. Owner is a liar and claims that the knob was damaged in shipping...which is impossible since it is encased in the machine itself and inside a wooden box. It also is not a TEFC motor and according to Nathan at TX Grinderz the only difference between what he uses and TEFC is that you wont get shocked if you drop it in water..... So many better options for the money. So many better companies to support.

I would suggest avoiding tx grinderz at all costs also. I bought one and the owner never shipped it so I told him to cancel the order through ebay and he said too bad no returns and shipped it afterwards. I had bought another grinder after I told him to cancel it and the new one showed up before his did. I went through ebay to do a return of it and the owner refused it and ebay sided with me and told me to keep the grinder. The owner told me I was out to rob him and he's going to press charges and ruin my business. Don't buy from this guy if you actually want to get a usable grinder in under a month and a half.

Got to sat I am partial to our design :). Tried to combine the best attributes of what is out there to make a solid machine (rotatable, standard tooling arm bar stock, and CL to tooling arm). Had Bruce Bump take a look over it and give me some feedback. Since then we have designed it and are really pleased with the results. Working on getting the generation 3 design out early July with full photos and videos to follow and working on getting some independent reviews lined up.
