type of sleep systems..

I was issued a Wiggy's system one time. Wish I would've figured out to have kept that set of bags. I slept in very cold to warm weather in those bags.

hehe the +2c is the rating given by Snugpak as extreme temp. So yes, it should be good enough for fall :)
I'll look into the dd hammock then, dont want to blow 150 bucks just to try if it works for me :)
What model do you have? The Camping model looks like a bargain for 25GBP
I have the dd frontline hammock, more expensive than the camping model, but it's a good hammock, mosquito net, double layer a good width etc.

maybe I misunderstand you, but extreme rating for me means the lowest temperature you can use your sleeping bag in at which you won't die of hypothermia. the temperature at which you want to be is the comfort range, which is in a range at least 5-8 degrees higher. so that would mean you would be fine in about 7-9 degrees celcius. Fall temps in the netherlands at night are often a lot colder.

Make sure you have under-insulation with the hammock. The Exped should work well.

Thanks! And thanks zyhano for the link to your review. I wondered how well the Exped and the hammock would work together. I have the Synmat 7 (no down) but it sounds like it should keep me plenty warm in the hammock.

I get your point. Though there is indeed a misunderstanding :)
