Type over problems

I don't know if it is also a feature of this site, or my word program that causes type over.

For that matter, what on earth is type over for? I see no purpose in it at all except for pure frustration.

Is there a way of turning it off permanently? Better yet burn its house down by killing the specific program within the PC.

Okay, that insert key.... I think your days/minutes are numbered.


I just tried that. That insert key is the problem.

I remember now, long ago on an older PC I was using in the late 90's that I had the same problem. It turned my hair from gray to white, and my blood pressure went through the roof. I would end up starting my work from scratch to get around the problem wasting my precious time.

After speaking to the PC tech who built the damned thing, I then took my Spyderco Police and pried the damned useless insert key right out of the keyboard.

This keyboard is new, for the time being I just put some tape on it and see how it goes. I have a feeling that my Spyderco will come into use again for this nasty little annoying useless button.

However, after looking at the old keyboard, I cannot hold myself back now, tape on the key is not good enough my temper is elevating thinking about it.

Its beheading day for the insert key.



Okay, pop. It just flew across the room leaving a little stump in its place. Now its a truly customized PC. Thanks a bunch Nordic Viking:thumbup:
