Tyrant pocketclip issue

I got a Tyrant recently direct from Brous and I love everything about it... except the pocketclip. The metal it's made out of is extremely stiff and unflexible and the tip is sharp, as is the triangular wedge that touches the handles. I've tried bending it out and only succeeded in scratching the purple scales. It's shredding my pocket and I hate using it because I know I'm going to struggle getting it back on my pocket (just khakis or jeans material). I emailed twice and am just getting ignored. Does anyone have a similar issue with theirs? If so, what did you do to correct it? I'm ready to take a file to it next....

Maybe try a little sandpaper against the sharp tip before you rake a file to it? Or perhaps there are aftermarket clips you can buy to replace it.

First thing I would do is go on the web site, during business hours, and flick on the live chat button.
You will usually get Jason. Ask him. I had an issue with a Mini Division and he hooked me up right away.
Had to send the knife in and had it back in a week. The knife was bought second hand. The repair and return shipping was free.
I had a great experience with their CS.
Good luck!

It's a relatively new model and the clip appears custom the way it sits in there, so nothing aftermarket as yet. I tried sandpaper first, but a LOT of metal needs to come off. The entire wedge, honestly...

I'll try the live chat and see what they say. I hate to bug him and was trying to go through Keena, but I guess maybe they're very busy right now. I was hoping someone else would have one here that could either confirm or deny the issue I'm having. It seems trivial, but for a mid-tech price, you'd expect to be able to deploy your knife easily.

Well, I did the live chat and he said to send it back and he'd fix it, so off it goes!

Best thing to do brother!
He'll hook you up and have it back to you very quickly!
