U.S. Postal Service - Good

I've always been happy with USPS's Priority Mail. I select it when I can whenever I order knives. I also use it to ship knives I sell to other forumites.

This week they surpassed my expectations, though. I mailed a knife from the little Post Office in Etna, OH on Saturday, Dec 20 to a forumite in Oakland, CA. He received it on Monday, Dec 22. And this during the Christmas mailing rush.

Good work, USPS!

Seriously, I've had mostly good experiences with USPS but all it takes is one bad one to ruin it.

Every knife that I have ever sold or traded has gone through the USPS and I have had very good luck and no problems, knock on wood.

I can't believe the service I've received from USPS this Christmas holiday. One package was delivered on a Sunday (??? never seen that before) and if that wasn't enough, I received my new Benchmade 705 on Christmas Day! Who delivers on Christmas Day? I almost shat my pants...

When I worked for USPS we always ran parcel post on Sundays during the Christmas rush to avoid a backlog. On Christmas Day is really beyond the call -- unless it was Express Mail!
