Here is one of the neatest rigs I've seen. The khukuri is a 19 & 1/4 inch Malla made and marked by Kumar and housed in an excellent quick draw scabbard made by Terry Sisco. Both khukuri and scabbard rate 10/10.

The karda and chakma are well done and housed in a special double compartment scabbard by Terry.

This is made for somebody who likes to get his khukuri out quickly and who uses the karda and chakma on a very regular basis. And if you are not acquainted with Terry's work this is an excellent opportunity to do so.

We will deliver this rig to your door for $150 so essentially you get the great scabbard work free.

Call or email if interested.

If I wasn't saving money for other projects I would be all over this like a cheap suit. Terry is the scabbard master, alright.

Cheers for now,

Gary.

Very sweet. If I had filed that income tax a month back, I'd go for it. But I didn't. On second thought, ( deleted ), on third thought
( I ain't admitting this one )..., starting to hyperventilate..., THE JANAWAR KOTHIMODA KATNE, mounted next to THE KOTHIMODA TARWAR

Sorry, I need to sit down a few minutes. Maybe sanity will eventually return if I relax and think good thoughts ( Big Fat Chance ). This is gonna take a lot of time and thought.

It isn't often I really covet anything but I wish I could have this outfit. I was booted fraudulantly from a startup company I spent over two years building with a partner and am having to watch every penny. Crumbs. Well, its a thing of beauty and whoever buys it will certainly have a prize!

best wishes

Somebody please buy this thing! I saw it ten minutes after Uncle Bill posted it and I've been holding out ever since. A Malla isn't at the top of my list, but I'm dying here!

This is so funny. I can remember when all us "production knife collectors" used to dote on Made In Germany. Now we have a German Forumite buying from an American dealer selling a knife made in Nepal!

And the world just goes 'round and 'round

Bill--my guess from the pix is that this would be a quick-draw sheath only for the right-handers, yes?

I know just how nice a rig this one is since I've seen it and played with it a little bit.

And it's another fine example of Terry's beautiful and innovative work. I know I'm preaching to the chior when I say that Terry has a most unusual talent and not only with leather, but also wood and steel.

I like the Malla Khukuri a lot. And it's kind of funny in a way. When I designed the YCS I radiused the top of the spine the same as many of the old khukuris were made as that's a feature I really like. When I got the first one made that's one of the first things I noticed. Sanu had made the spine flat like the Malla Khukuri, another example of an old khukuri and in my estimation much harder to do than the radius!!!!
As Uncle Bill says, "One can never out guess the kamis."
