Here's a 10/10 tarwar made and marked by Bura. 29 inches and about 2.5 pounds. Excellently done. There is one thing wrong with this entire rig and this is it. The blade has suffered some rust damage on the right side. You can't see it in the pix but it's there. The rust is not deep so I figure about 30 minutes with some assorted sandpaper will bring the rig back to original condition.

So if your time is worth $120 per hour and you have a hankering for a Bura made tarwar this one's for you.

We will deliver this tarwar to your door for $135 -- $60 off regular price and this is a very good deal.

Call or email if interested.

I definately like it! I just have all of my money tied up in other projects right now.

These deals are killing me, I have committed my resources to something else though. My heart is breaking.

Uncle Bill,

Nothing major to be done I hope? You have had enough torture in that guy's chair to last a lifetime

Hmmm, perhaps this would do in place of a sabre with a different handle.

does Yogi also get credit for "The opera ain't over til the fat lady sings", or was that somebody else?
That saying's been around a while, I know that much. First time I remember hearing it was from Dick Motta, then the coach of the Washington Bullets basketball team, back in the days when I followed sports.
What's this got to do with khukuris? Sometimes when you pick up a khuk, doesn't it just make you want to plunk on one of those twin-horned Viking helmets and some animal hides, raise that blade to the heavens, and belt out a song? That's pretty much what I did last Halloween.

I have been around for a while as well and round as well for a while.

But that didn't come from me about the fat lady.

However the one "You don't sweat much for a fat girl" may have been in my repitiore for a while when I was a little kid, a long, long time ago and far away.

And I always list from carrying knives some days more on one side than the other depending on how big a khukuri I have on.

And I have never felt as you describe although I had one once that made me want to strip and dance nekkid ith it. The new Dui Chiara Chainpuri comes alwfully close to that feeling and perhaps would succeed if I didn't keep my emotions in check.

The Tarwar is exactly 2 3/8 Lbs on my new postal scales and the POB is 6" in front of the guard.
The rust isn't all that bad and a trip to the buffer should take care of it nicely.:D
The handle is perfect for either one or two hand use.
The edge would cut, but has a burr running along one edge hat will ome off on the buffer.
And before I take a hone to it I will see if I can't buff the edge to razor sharp.
If not a little slack belt grinding and then the buffer will have it to here it needs to be.
I think this is the first one of these I've got to handle, but there ay have been one at Terry's place, don't recall it though.

I'm very impressed with this rig!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D

:
When I posted that I was pretty excited and didn't think about checking for hardness.
Now I'm really impressed!!!!!!!:D
I ran my file down the edge effictively knocking off the burr and the file just slid down the edge until I got about an inch from the point when it bit in.
And as hard as the rest of the blade was I tought perhaps the soft skin found on
hardened blades may have not all been removed so I filed on it a bit.
It did get a little harder as the file wasn't biting as deep as when I 1st started and I figure it's about 56- 57 Rc there.
The rest of the edge is a good 60 Rc or more except for a little bit right near the ricasso.
Perfectly hardened and what Bura Always Does So Well!!!!:D
