uber noob question

I'm new to collecting knives and I want to get a good sharpener I was just wondering what your idea of the best portable sharpener and more... larger sharpening system was.

I would recomend the spyderco sharpmaker, its very effective and easy to use. It is not exactly a portable sharpener but it could easly make one considering it has a case that everything fits inside and isn't very cumbersome. You can use the search function to find out more about it.

I actualy heard of this sharpmaker before but never looked into it.I know realise that's exactly what I was looking for, thanks :thumbup:
