Uberknives good experience

Just received my order from Uberknives.com. Due to the discount I was given, price could not be beaten by other online retailers that I could see. Order was placed without any problems, and shipped the very next day. Free shipping service was priority mail "2 day," a service I have had good luck with in the past. It also arrives quickly, even if not within the two day period. Knife arrived today, bundled with a couple items I did not even know would be included, like a bunch of paracord. Good stuff! My only gripe about the seller would be to say that the pictures of the knife on the website were rather misleading, and the knife itself does not look much like it does in the pics, something my girlfriend pointed out right away. Even so, I recommend Uberknives, and will probably order again, but I will verify pics of the knife on other websites before I do. Just in case.

Good communication, fast service, and a great price.
 
I've had a similar experience with Uberknives, very fast shipping on the first knife I ordered and the second knife came with a couple of extra goodies. Good prices and excellent customer service. I will be doing business with them again if they have what I can't live without.

Can you please send me an email detailing out which knife you ordered (dan@uberknives.com), and what was different about it once received, so I can check it out to make sure I can see what you're seeing? We strive to constantly improve on our products and product photos so if there ever is an issue like this, we definitely like to take that feedback into account so we can learn and improve that area.

Also, definitely feel free to ask about any detail or aspect of the knife you are interested, as I'd be glad to detail inspect it for you (and any customer) prior to shipping it out.

I had a first class purchase experience, with most of it done through email, which was prompt and ended up with the knife that sits in my pocket every day. My impression is that Uberknives goes the extra mile when it comes to customer satisfaction. I say buy with the confidence that you will end up thoroughly pleased.

Unfortunately, even though I was asked to send an email concerning my issues with the order I made, no reply to the email was received on my end. While I still feel I got a good deal on the knife I received, it does not match the pics of the knife on their website. Just something to keep in mind for anyone thinking of ordering from Uberknives.

Im also curious about what was wrong with the pictures. Did he send you a different knife or?
 
It was a very similar knife, but not the same. I still like the knife I received for the price, so I was not worried about returning it, but the knife pictured online definitely was different than the one I received. I have comparison pics. Knife as pictured online.

Looks the same to me, only his lighting and photography skills are much much better ;)

Enjoy the knife though, have heard many people who like them
 
In the first couple pics, you can see where the edges on the frame of the knife seem to be gold colored. My knife does not have this coloration on the frame, as you can see in the 2nd pic of the knife i received. Also look at the pattern on the carbon fiber. Completely different. When I first got the knife, I assumed the same, that his pics were just really good. However, all things considered, I do really like the knife I got, especially for the price I paid. While the pics are definitely misleading, I wasn't too worried about it. However, an email was requested, and even though I sent one days ago, no response was received.

I got same knife from them, wasn't thrilled about it not having the anodizing on the edges - CF didn't bother me, though. Unfortunately, mine had a pretty bad scratch on the lock side and across the face of the pivot. I mailed it back for replacement several weeks ago, and now I can't get Dan at UberKnives to email me back. Right now, I've been out a good chunk of money for quite a while and haven't heard anything except a vague/weird email on May 8th about having a couple "candidates" for a replacement, and asking me to confirm my shipping address (for my 6th purchase in a couple months), and he gave me no definitive information about when I can actually expect a "candidate" to arrive. This will likely be my last purchase from Uber...and this was my 6th AdV from them.

Update - Still can't get a response from Uber Knives. Now they have my knife, so I'm out all that money and am apparently going to be forced to file a chargeback with my credit card, and/or a theft report with their and/or my local police department.

After consideration, I would actually not consider my experience with them a good one. I was given a 20% off code when I placed my order, so the price I paid was a really good one. However, considering the knife received was not the knife pictured online, and Uberknives did not reply to the customer service email that they requested I send them, I would never deal with them again, regardless of the price. Too many other more trustworthy places I would rather give my business to.

My knife also had some scratches on the pivot, but since they did not show up in the pic I posted, I didn't bother mentioning them.
 
I had a very slow response for one of my returns to Uber Knives...

Received an AdV Mini TAC-Butcher on Friday, April 10th. The thumb disc screw got sheared off on first try. Emailed Uber and the next day on Saturday, April 11th I received a return shipping label from them so it didn't cost me anything to return it. They received it on Monday morning, April 13th.

I emailed them daily on when the replacement would ship out and every day it was either no response or going out today. It did not ship out until Friday, April 17th and I got the good replacement on Monday, April 20th. The replacement should've shipped out on Monday, April 13th.
