I’m glad you found your knife.

There are two of my knives that have gone missing and stayed missing after a couple of days.

I guess what they say about “the first 48 hours” is true…
 
I actually thought " Did I put it inside the wall when the bathroom got renovated so that in like a hundred years from now someone will unearth it and do research about me?"
Thats PTSD at work...I'm waaay to stingy to do that.👍

Found it....but first I had to lose my mind....was looking for the plano box which holds all my GEC vipers and assorted 73s 74s and 72s...Now where the hell did IT go?

Did you find the Plano box too? I assume so, since there isn’t a thread on the loss of your mind...that I’ve seen.
 
Cheers JM2 JM2 yes the plano box was under my lounge with the Sowbelly in it...It was a pheeuuwwff thank god for that moment.

My uncle had a Schrade Walden 825 he bought shortly after he returned from Vietnam, and he carried it every day for at least 25 years. One day it turned up missing. Turned the whole house inside out, etc., and couldn’t find it. It stayed missing for years. One day his wife was going through some old clothes and found it inside the waistband of a pair of pants. It had somehow worked its way up there from the pocket. He couldn’t bear to lose it again, so he retired it and just kept carrying the 897UH he had already bought to replace it.
 
I lost an AG Russell funny folder for a couple of years, it turned up inside of a Lazy Boy reclining chair when I was breaking it down to dispose of it. I had already bought a replacement which I wound up gifting away when it returned to me.
