who's watching, who's drinking and who;s making the popcorn??:)

Watching, already made the popcorn! Who's watching 'Ultimate Warrior' on Spike after the fights?!! I saw the show the other night WELL WORTH WATCHING! (especially when the Apache guy takes umbrage with the gladitator guy!

Ooooh! Big sweaty gladiator guys taking the umbrage! Is that a Pay channel?

the apache wore him out!

Not sure about that but regardless.

Its about edged weapons:D:D

Very cool!

wow!

Chet Congo just wore that dude out!

Split dudes head wide open :thumbup:

Go baby go! Gotta love those gladitor fighting shows! Pay channel, heck no, I don't pay for my cable GRIN! Best edged weapon show I've seen in years, worth taping and watching over and over again IMO.

The Henderson and franklin fight sucked. They both looked Like they are done fighting. The ufc has turned into making money off of losers fighting losers.

Did you see THAT!?! WTF!?! Well, in an hour the Gladitors vs the Apache is coming on Spike, I'm up for that too!

UFC needs to set up rankings for guys and a legit scoring system. Too may fights are set up strictly for money and they end up being a waste of our time. If they create a points system, then fighters and fans will know exactly who stands where. I love mixed martial arts, but there is too much corruption or favortism in it.

Dangit, I didn't even know there were live fights on last night...can't belive I missed it:grumpy:

I taped the UF show, but missed the fight.

BTW- I don't think either is washed up, just alot of great competition has came to that weifght class in the last year or two.

They weren't live.

What I mean by losers fighting losers is this: neither one of them can beat Anderson Silva, not in this lifetime anyway. Franklin got smashed twice by Silva, and he looked worse the second fight. So, instead of the UFC having better fighters fight and move toward the belt, we get to see the same fights over and over again, with the same fighters over and over again. There is enough gifted talent out there that would be better to watch, instead of a named fighter losing his belt, fighting one or two no-name fighters, winning those matches, some by the "luck" of the judges score cards, and then getting a title shot again, while better fighters who have proven themselves are looked over.

I guess if these guys want to keep getting beat up that's fine, but I don't think Dana White should make these "do over" fights pay-per-view. I also think that if the champ loses, he should go to the end of the line and work his way back up and not get a pass.

Does anybody here think Rampage Jackson is going to beat Rashad Evans? I don't. If Jackson looks like he did in the Jardine fight, Evans is going to crush him in theirs.

I believe Rampage is going to put a good beating on Evans. I know Evans has done well and beat some strong competition. But Rampage is a much more dangerous and powerful fighter...IMO That being said, there are not many fights I'm really itching to see aside from Rampage v Evans and a potential Silva vs St.-Pierre.

I'll take Evans and Silva. I hope GSP leaves the Vaseline at home for this fight.

Ha ha, ya that seemed a bit unecessary. Lost a little respect for that move, and GSP has a questionable chin. Silva is a rock with scary sharp striking. If GSP cannot take Silva down and GnP then I doubt he has much of a chance against Spider.

I agree, but don't think anyone else can come close to beating Silva. Though there is always that chance in the UFC of getting caught with a punch, only way I see he could loose at this point.
I think he could do well at 205, but don't blame him for wanting to fight at his natuaral fighting weight. He will crush GSP, if GSP tries to move up for that big paycheck fight.

I don't think any champ should go directly to the end of the line, esp if a close fight. That will never happen in any fighting sport, but I agree they should go back a couple of spots instead of usually getting the quick rematch.
They do seem to do this often foe profits.

On the third...I think Evans will win that fight. He can keep most on there back, often not doing much, but more than his opponent thats on his back.
That with his vastly improved striking skills should make him the favorite.
But like I said, you can always get caught with one punch with the unpadded gloves.

Sorry this has to be my first post, but i have to take issue with this moronic statement. Losers? Seriously??? Both of those guys are world class and would be the bejezzus outta most any fighter out there. Who have they lost to? Anderson Silva? Yeah that's terrible when you lose to the absolute best in the world. If you are going to talk about something, at least TRY to act like you know what you are talking about.

Before you come in our house with your opinions how about you read the "House Rules" first. Then if you have something to say thats fine.

This part of the forums is not like any other part and for a reason. Its the very best forum and we intend to keep it that way.

Please read the rules.

These guys should be fighting for INFI! Where's Jerry?! Somebody get the Busse PR team over to UFC Central and have the fights mean something! INFI is worth fighting over, and some of the Custom Shop pieces have UFC written all over them figuratively!
