Ugghhhh. i'm frustrated.

International shipping times are crazy right now - last week I received some stuff I ordered november 10th ...

I bought a sheath from Martin and being in Germany shipping time was quite short.
I'd say wait until he can open a case from his end, and open the case with usps at the same time.
 
I just heard some customs agent bragging about the sweet sheath he "found"...

just wait..... all you can do really .Martin is a stand up guy , the problem lies with the shipping from there to here ...and that my friend takes time . #1 reason I stay CONUS Selling & Buying,nothing against the folks abroad but I hate the system for which it moves within.

Me too Tony. In the long run it would be easier if we just all chipped to in move Martin to the states. :D
 
As has been said this is due to increased security after those toner bombs. From what I've read, anything over 1lb cannot come in on a regular airplane as they normally would, they have to come in by ship or cargo plane. And even then stuff that is coming in on airplanes can still get held up in security. I'm going through the same thing right now waiting for some pipes (tobacco) I ordered through a UK retailer. Its not Martins fault, good guy or not, you shouldnt ask him for a refund, he cant control the f*ed postal services(s). If you didnt specify ups with tracking then its your fault, not his.
 
That sucks, man....but his sheaths are really nice. It sucks that it's taking so long, but international shipping is a crapshoot. When it arrives, I'm sure you will be thrilled. I'd love to have one of his sheaths but don't know which knife I'd want it for.

Never said it was his fault. Martin ships all his stuff this way. Wasn't my decision. Don't try to find lines to read between.
 
Hi Guys ..

I actually have 4 packages that were send the 17th and the 22nd of december that didn't make it to the U.S. cliënt yet.
Packages in the same shipment send to other countries did arrive weeks ago.

Since januari 1st security measures for shipments over 500 grams to the U.S. have been tightened, which means an extra 3-4 weeks delay on top of the 2 weeks allready needed. The packages I send were all under 500 grams but are probably caught up in the mess caused by this new rule.


Investigation learned that all packages were already accepted by USPS and renumbered. Your particular package is now numbered: RY013422299NL and is awaiting delivery any moment now.

If it fails too arrive soon I'll make you either a new sheath or refund you, whichever has your preference.

I'm sorry for this delay. This has never happened before.
