Ugh, Damn you CountyComm!

Yes , those little mini pry-bars make killer presents , got one for my bro and my girlfriend and my boss !

Went to check out the flashlights just to see what everyone was talking about... $55 later... AAA one incoming and a few other gizmos :( :) (wasn't sure if this was a frowny or smiley situation)

Ah yes... the CountyComm "might as wells." :p

Yeah, the AA light is an iTP C7T rebadged under their brand. There are other bodies available for the light, so you can use 2 x AA or 1 x CR123 with the same head and tailcap. It's a nifty little modular system.

With $12 shipping, you've gotta grab some other stuff. Didn't realize they were carrying high-performance lights. Already got a bunch of those little button-cell $1 jobs - very cool & useful.

I dropped $130 there a week or so ago. Got one of the AA lights. I'm new to high quality lights, but i love this thing, and consider it money well spent. I like the adjustable brigtheness, and it rides in my perpetualy overstuffed pockets just as comfortably as the light it replaced which was half the size (donno how that works but there it is.)

Having serious trouble resisting that little AAA number.

grrrrrr...

Sweet. I got a couple of County Comm orders this past month already.

So I just bookmarked Going Gear ...

"...a working voltage from 1.0 V to 4.2V that provides infinite adjustments of brightness from 6 to 190 lumens."

I take it you need a 3.6 volt, 14500 lithium battery to get the 190 lumens ?

There are interchangeable body tubes that you can purchase for the Maratac 9290. ITP developed it so you can simply switch out the body tube with either the ITP C8 or C9 and you can use either two AA batteries or a single CR123A.

Seriously, I go on their sight, and I simply have no control over myself :(

Have you seen their new flashlights? Check them out, great deals (like everything there).

i have been trying to find some more facts about that maratac light. i just want to know what is the battery lifetimes of the different lumen settings.

Got my order last week, it was like xmas :D

The AA is a solid light, it has a new home in my fatboy. But still prefer the Fenix LD20 for serious work.

The AAA is amazing value. Honestly, I think I prefer it over my L0D. The low level is really low, the high seems (to me) brighter than the L0D, it's smaller, it doesn't have SOS/strobe (which I don't need on my L0D), and it has a pocket clip. It's just a great AAA light imo.

So overall, the AAA is a must buy imo. The AA is a solid light for the money, but not amazing imo.

Same here. I ordered about $60 worth of stuff from them this week, and another $60 or so last week. Stuff I could live without, including the EDC stuff on the mechanic's keychain, a breacher bar, Fenix AAA light (my 4th) and a couple of cargo pants pocket organizers.

But when you are jonesing for some man-gear, its a good place to get some satisfaction.

CountryComm makes me :( that they don't ship to Canada. CountryComm makes my wife and my wallet :) that they don't ship to Canada.

I just ordered a AAA light, widgy bar, peanut lighter and a few other things. Should be getting it soon.

I hate you all. I just made an order last night. I've been resisting the 'expensive' lights by telling myself that my lifetime supply of ACU grey SO-LEDS and $1 white button LEDS will keep me going. (and I have to say, the SO-LEDs are more useful than most anything I owned prior to the last couple years. amazing.)

Now... I'm going to get the AAA and see what's up.
