This is the first knife I ever made, about 4 years ago, from a nicholson file and a piece of whitetail antler. It's poorly heat treated (with a torch), and has the worst sharpening job I've ever seen. It was my first, no one has seen it before this, because I'm not proud of it at all.
For comparison, I snapped a couple pics of a prototype for a new design I'm working on. 5/32" 154CM, ground in a continuous taper with a blended convex edge and 800gr. satin finish, with 416ss bolsters and WSSI stabilized maple burl for a contoured handle. My uncle, and sometimes hunting partner is going to be getting this one to evaluate for me as soon as I get a sheath made for it.
Have a good one,
Nathan
