Ugliest knives

What are some of the knives that you guys find to be terribly ugly? It can still be incredibly functional, however, when you see it you just can't like it's look?

I think my first vote would go to the Spyderco Khalsa

Having trouble getting a pic of it on my phone if anyone can oblige.

What's your thoughts on ugliest knives?
 
Khalsa - (IMO, this thing is cool, lol)

Also, any frame-lock that has asymmetrical handle scales - I just can't do it. Lol.

ANY and/or ALL of the Cold Steel folders.

ALL Modern folders, excluding the OKC RAT 1
 
Pretty much everything from Quartermaster knives, especially the QTR2, QTR4 , QTR7, QSE1, QSE2, QSE3, and QSE4TT. Like I said, pretty much everything they offer is hideous.

Agreed! With the exception of the roper and spicoli. Also, I always thought tracker style knives were hideous.

When someone says "the ugliest", broadly applying the same level of ugliness to something like 3000 knives of widely varying styles is both not contributing to the thread and is arguably intellectually dishonest. Really, what you're saying is that you only like traditional knives, which is also not really contributing to the thread.

What were you trying to accomplish here?

Lol, the cold Steel diss loses some of the bite when you write off all modern folders. And what's with people hating modern knives? I can understand preferring traditional, but hating ALL modern? Guess you just don't like knives all like that.

And people may hate me for this one, but I actually find the rat ugly, or at least quite homely.

I m afraid that by Telling a man just how ugly his knife is
Would be akin to opening up a Pandora's box...
Lets just say that some of outlandish designs not to our preference
Are highly regarded as an acquired taste.

Seems he was merely answering the OP's question, which was "What are some knives you find yourself be ugly?"

Funny thing, if the thread was "What knives do you find good looking?" , and someone one said "Spyderco" or "ZT".... if one came into the thread only to call their opinion. " intellectually dishonest," then that person may very well be accused of trolling.

I find ZTs to be terribly ugly, by the way. AND not functional (since functionality was discussed in the OP)

I don't know if I agree with the part I put in bold, but I can see what you mean. I also realize I failed to contribute to the thread... So I'm going to remedy that.

I, personally, find many of the Kizer offerings absolutely hideous.

Most of the Klecker designs:

Ugly is in the eye of the beholder.

Those are pretty ugly. I can't stomach those knurled/grooved/ridged scales... there's probably a name for them...Jigged bone I like, but those things are too much. Blech.
 
This'll get me in a lot of trouble, but i sure do hate how chris reeve knives look. Never handled or even saw one i liked. "Idaho Made." The graphics always make it way worse too. IMHO!!
