Ugliest Traditionals

This one's easy. "Lady Legs" are by far the most hideous knives of all, right next to red/green Christmas specials.

I'd buy it ;)
I like knives, ladies legs and the aforementioned legs in stripes so...

I don't mean any offense. Trust me, I'm a confirmed lady leg pattern lover! For me, the 110 is a classic that just doesn't look right to me in black blade and carbon fiber. Now, on a zero tolerance, that's a different story.

No offense taken. I get where you are coming from. I'm just a bit more liberal in my conservative ways. [emoji56].

Take a classic old plane, the Cub. A classic bird that has earned the right to put down just about anywhere. And most places are those that any other plane on the planet would not even consider. Without birds like this, much of the "adventure" industry would not even exist.

But now take that same overall design, and blend it with newer materials like CF, and you have both lighter and stronger airframe. Check out the Carbon Cub. Now you can add a more powerful engine, increase maneuverability forces, add more payload, etc. Weight saved, and strength gained.

So, yeah. I love the classics. Also love modern tech. So it shouldn't be surprising that I also enjoy a well executed blending of the two. [emoji41]

Sent from my mind....using Tap-a-Thought. (tm)

Sure, it may be "ugly," but you have to admit, that handle actually looks like it would be quite ergonomic and comfortable... :D

If you like sharp fins sticking in your hand maybe! Comfortable, in that your hand hides the horror...:D:D

Got any dimensions for that 'contender'? 5" closed.....:cool:

This knife is grotesque, but it makes me smile.

I am unfamiliar with the maker, but he has undeniable skills.

That amazingly took a lot of skill to make a knife so useless
I think the most impressive part is that the blade looks perfectly cengered in the closed position

Skill? Nja, it was actually a Backpocket that some heavy type sat on. Mind you, it is a perfect curve, maybe it was Kim K....:eek:

You are right Barrett - easy to grab! On the other hand, this one defeats ergonomics - at least for my hands!

It even hangs around with ugly faces!!
:D

While not exactly "ugly" in the sense, I don't really like the modern shadow pattern slip joints. I especially don't care for the micarta and carbon fiber ones. And seems like all of them are just lanny's clips. :D

Useless? I'll bet it's perfect for getting that last bit of peanut butter out of the jar. (Truthfully, I'd love to see how it works as an apple peeler)

Triangle always wins. ;) https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BFF_2NpCcAIEI-F.jpg

Triangle knife, Triangle knife
Triangle knife hates equal end knife
They have a fight, Triangle wins
Triangle knife

Ha! I love TMBG! :D

At least the covers are pinned (a LOT), not glued, I think.

I have been looking for an 81 stockman for awhile. Finally ran across this poor ugly child. So ugly it's pretty. But it may end up making a trip to glennbad anyway lol.

I'm not sure there can be an ugly 81, but that has some funky colors going on.

It sort of reminds me of the candies that my grandparents kept out in a bowl during the Christmas holiday. Something similar to this...

Sunfish, Lady's Leg, Elephant Toenail, Celuloid handles, and virtually ALL the newer Case Shields and garish colored bone...
blah..!!!
