Ugly Betty? I don't think so-

Yep, the jimping on the 4.7 cfv is a bit out of spec[not uniform in cut depth] plus a few small scuffs and one 1/8th inch shallow scratch in the finish. Nothing that a weekend of use wouldn't have put on anyways. The 5's handle fit is a bit off but still a very nice knife. For users these are a bargain and way nicer than I expected them to be.

Bump an old thread since there are some new Betty's being offered today.
Maybe somebody has some from pics of a Betty to show.

Nice picture! That's what they are made for. Thanks for the picture, all mine were photobucket and what more can I say.

I've put some ugly on the 4.7.
Is that your dedicated soup can cutting knife? Definitely not a safe queen!

Oh..... sorry to hear about the Photobucket problem...

I just ordered my first Ugly Betty 4.1. Great Price!!! Also my very first Survive! knife EVER arrives tomorrow!! Had to buy on 2nd market though, but not a bad price at all.
Exciting times, congratulations! Looking forward to seeing pics and reading your thoughts.

I missed it. tried, but says unavailable.
Sorry to hear you missed out this time around. I hope you get another chance.

Overall, I am glad to see this was just small batch and not an open ended order stretching out into infinity.

I used it to "fix" a friend's sterno emergency candle. Or a coffee can art project. Might have been both now that I think about it.

The edge held up just fine.

Just curious, do Ugly Betty's ship at about the same speed as factory 2nds, or are they a bit quicker at getting shipped out?

They are like 2cds unless it is stated that they are ready to ship at the time of the sale like the last of the 4.7 1st models were.
