Well once in a while I like to try something new and I was browsing one day and spotted this.

Well it came in the mail today and I just finished using it for the first time.
The first thing that struck me is the fact that this is no flimsy little chefs knife. It weighs in at a full pound, a good portion of which I am sure is the G10 handle material. Yes you read that correctly, I said G10. Even so this is a nice solid chunk of 440C. The handle scales appear to be removable so cleaning should pose no problem, not to mention at some point customization. The knife has an eight inch cutting edge and and is plenty wide to afford a nice grip both on the handle and when you choke up on the blade. It's two main selling points are in it's design which allows you to flip the knife over and use the spine to scrape food from the cutting board without needless dulling of the blade and the "rocker feature" which is nothing more than a slight blade curvature which allows a rocking motion while cutting not too dissimilar from the action found while using an Ulu. Over all thus far I am enjoying this knife, only time will tell how well it stands up. Though I can not see with proper care it not lasting a lifetime. I was able to pick mine up for $108.00 which is not bad at all. I am in now way attempting to sell this product I just love sharing new things that I have come across with all of you. If any of you do happen to get one please let me know what your opinion is.
