Ugly edc

This is one of a handful of knives I made to test out the new kiln. Not meant to really be a looker, but they sure do cut good.

It's ground from 1/8'' 1080, the mill scale was left on, and the blade flat ground to 400girt then etched. The scales are black linen micarta and pins are nickle silver.

o.a. the knife is about 7 1/8'', with a blade 2 3/4'' long and 1 1/8'' wide at plunge.

The knife does have my stamp on it also.

ill get a better pic up,

i didnt really mean ugly, i just meant the knife deffinitely is a better worker than looker...

I just bought a knife from him, that is from the same batch. I will post some pics of it when I get it. If Andrew wants to post them go ahead. I will be buying a few more knives from him in the future.
 
glad you like it, I actually have 8 more different uglies in the works,
was thinking about posting this and giving choice of handle material???

btw, they have all been ground and heat treated since photo, I needed a profile shot for another customer, so I took this one.
