I thought the title of the thread was for me!

I even have a couple of knives that were sort of mentioned here, and I like em.....

The Case actually comes apart and becomes 3 separate utensils. I've used it a fair amount, including nearly wiping my thumb tip completely off with the blade.

I learned a new word today! I took a stab at the meaning..... Merit and atrocious.... I was close!

And boy, do those knives meet that standard! Personally, I'm not a fan of all the knives with laser etched handles of any sort..... Those 'damascus' blades and laser etched 'engraved' bolsters are pretty bad as well.

But to each their own!

You could use that to describe a person, but make it sound like a compliment, and they would probably thank you…

Not necessarily ugly or garish, but definitely worthless. Given to me by relative, "You like guns and collect knives, so I thought this would be perfect." Dull lockblade keychain knife with 1/4" wobble at tip, and no way to fix, as it's only pinned from one side. Photo on engineering graph paper for scale; 5 lines per inch. Oh well, I guess it's the thought that counts.

That brass ring lock folder is pretty cool, and the case hobo is an iconic classic.

Garish- now there is a word that is not used enough! I have a couple of “merica” knives but they were both made here
This one is with me right now actually!

The only shame with this knife is the existence of the saying " these colors don't run ", because sadly it seems these colors have run.

Fortunately, nobody near me would DARE to give me a knife as a present There's some really horrible cheap kitsch been shown here. Imagine being found carrying that crap or having it in the house

It's like assuming you know what kind of clothes people like and buying some totally horrible ill thought out 'thing' they won't be seen dead in in Then keep asking " why don't you wear it???"

You can't fake a good meal and you can't fake taste.
