uh oh I'm at the airport

an Israeli friend of mine told me a couple of years ago that we don't have effective airport security here in the states. What we have is effective passenger hassling.

i flew all the way to russi and back with a SAK in my bag, i can only assume it was missed because it was snug up against my phone

I stay away from airports and airplanes. This BS security just guarantees a harmful person that any good people are unarmed. I'd be much happier if EVERYONE was armed, OR AT LEAST willing to defend themselves. Tooo many people are just willing to lay down and be trampled, and at best, hope that it doesn't hurt too much. ...a little too handy for the forces that be, "good" or "bad."

Same Here.....

The last time I was in a plane,I jumped out of it!:D.....

......in case you haven't figured it out,I was skydiving:p

No security system is perfect..

If you want more peace of mind on an aircraft be prepared for security checks to take all day, you'll all soon be complaining:p

I'd guess that if you stripped everyone naked and put them into cages for the duration of the flight it'd be pretty safe.

If they let everyone carry their firearms on board, the planes would be perfectly safe, we could get rid of TSA and everyone would save a lot of time, money and hassles. Pretty simple solution, if you ask me.

Sometimes, security is its own enemy. At my school, several bomb threats have been made. They don't allow students to enter the school building before 7:25 (the preliminary bell rings at 7:38) to prevent them to be in the building and give them time to plant a bomb when there isn't teacher/administrator supervision.

It seems to me that a prime time to detonate a bomb would be when everyone is packed in a tight area (like that lobby), not spread out across a host of classrooms across the campus.

I'm only a student, so what do I know? I'll just sit in my truck till the bell rings, thank you.
